AI in your company, without expensive experiments.

I help companies and professional firms turn artificial intelligence into concrete results: documents that analyze themselves, assistants that answer from your own data, processes that stop stealing time. Backed by 20+ years of enterprise software engineering — in sectors where mistakes are expensive.

First discovery call is free and non-binding. I'll tell you honestly whether AI can help you — and if it can't, I'll tell you that too.

Services

What I can do for your business.

Four concrete ways to work together. Every service has a clear deliverable: you know what you get, when, and why.

For those who want to know if and where AI truly pays off

AI Discovery & Roadmap

I analyze your processes, identify where AI creates real value and where it's just hype, and deliver a roadmap with priorities, estimated costs and risks. No vague slides: a plan you can execute.

Feasibility report + operational roadmap + cost/benefit estimate
For those with a specific problem to solve

Custom AI solutions

I design and build production-ready AI systems: automated document analysis, assistants that answer from your company data, automation of repetitive workflows. With privacy, GDPR and running costs kept under control.

Working system + documentation + team training
For those who need to build or fix a system

Software architecture & development

Solid architectures and full-stack development: .NET/C# backends, cross-platform Flutter apps, databases and data warehouses. From domain design (DDD) to deployment, with maintainable code that doesn't turn into debt.

Documented architecture + software in production
For SMBs that need IT leadership without a full-time hire

Fractional IT Manager

I bring IT Manager experience into your company part-time: governance, vendor selection, security, compliance (including DORA for the financial sector), and a technology strategy that supports the business instead of slowing it down.

Recurring presence + IT plan + vendor supervision
AI Solutions

Concrete examples of what I build.

Real systems, designed with three constraints always in place: your data stays yours, costs stay predictable, results are measurable.

A1

Automated document analysis

The problem: hours of manual work on PDFs, reports and contracts.

Document-intelligence pipelines that read, extract and structure data from financial and contractual documents. I built one for financial reports with fully on-premise processing: no sensitive data ever leaves the company.

RAG Data extraction On-premise GDPR-ready
A2

AI assistants on company data

The problem: the answers exist, but they're scattered across a thousand documents.

Conversational assistants that answer using your company's documentation — manuals, procedures, knowledge bases — with source citations and built-in privacy filters. Cloud architecture with local fallback: works even offline.

Company chatbot Knowledge base Privacy-first
A3

Automation of repetitive processes

The problem: your team loses hours on low-value tasks.

Agentic workflows that orchestrate multiple systems: classifying emails and case files, generating drafts, running data-quality checks. AI does the rough work, people validate and decide.

AI agents Workflows System integration
A4

AI for finance and insurance

The problem: AI in regulated contexts requires double expertise.

I know the constraints and language of banks and insurers from the inside: ESG product classification, regulatory documentation analysis, DORA compliance. AI solutions that pass the compliance test.

Finance ESG DORA Compliance
Method

How we work together.

A four-step path designed to reduce risk: small initial investment, early results, and you decide at every step whether to continue.

Discovery call

You tell me the problem, I tell you frankly if and how I can help. No commitment, no surprise quotes.

2

Proposal

You receive a written proposal with clear goals, deliverables, timeline and costs. You know exactly what you're buying.

3

First result

I always start with a concrete, measurable milestone — a working prototype, an analysis, an automated process. You see it, touch it, evaluate it.

4

Growth

If the result convinces you, we scale: more features, more processes, more value. With documentation and training so the system remains yours, not mine.

About

Enterprise experience, working for your business.

I'm Ivano Manara, IT Manager and Software Architect. For over twenty years I've designed and shipped software systems for banks, insurers and telecom companies — environments where a mistake isn't an annoyance, it's damage. That's where I learned to build things that actually work.

In recent years I've brought that discipline into AI Engineering: Large Language Models, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems. I don't chase trends — I evaluate every technology for what it returns to the client. My rule: if a simple solution is enough, I won't sell you a complicated one.

I work from Pozzolengo, between Brescia and Lake Garda, with companies across Italy and Europe — on-site where it matters, remotely where it's smarter.

FAQ

What people ask before we start.

My company is small: does AI make sense for us too?

Often yes — sometimes more than for large ones. SMBs have repetitive processes concentrated on few people: automating even one frees up hours every week. In the free call we'll assess together whether it's worth it in your case — and if it isn't, I'll say so.

Our data is sensitive. Does it end up in some big tech's systems?

Only if you decide so. I design privacy-first architectures: on-premise processing or European servers, filters that anonymize personal data before any external call, and full GDPR compliance. For the most sensitive cases the entire solution can run on your own infrastructure, no cloud at all.

How much does an AI project cost?

It depends on the problem, but the path is designed so you don't gamble: the call is free, the proposal is written with clear costs, and the first milestone arrives in 2–4 weeks with a contained investment. You decide whether to continue only after seeing a concrete result.

Do you only work on AI projects?

No. Half of my work is "classic" software done well: .NET backends, Flutter apps, databases, architectures. That's often where the value hides — a process needs fixing before you put AI on top of it.

Do you work on-site or remotely?

Both. I'm based in Pozzolengo (Brescia), convenient for companies between Brescia, Verona, Mantua and Lake Garda. For the rest of Italy and Europe I work remotely in a structured way, with regular updates and everything documented.

What happens after delivery? Do we become dependent on you?

No, and I insist on this: every project includes complete documentation and training for your team. The goal is that the system is yours. If you then want ongoing support, there's the Fractional IT Manager formula — but it's a choice, not a lock-in.

The best time to find out if AI fits your business was yesterday. The second best is a 30-minute call.
